Kate Middleton and Prince William beamed as they cuddled an adorable puppy during a royal visit today. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire on Thursday 20 January to learn about the challenges rural health providers faced during the pandemic.
They also went to learn about how NHS Charities Together, for which they are patrons, is supporting the mental health of those working on the frontline.
During the visit, Kate and William met and cuddled therapy puppy Alfie, an apricot cockapoo, funded through hospital charity ELHT&me using a grant from NHS Charities Together.The puppy will be used to support the wellbeing of staff and patients.The adorable pup joins six year old cockapoo Jasper, who is already a therapy dog at the Trust.
Kate, who recently celebrated her 40th birthday, looked stunning in a neutral-toned outfit as she donned a brown turtleneck top alongside an ankle-length camel coat.
