Kate Garraway urged not to put life ‘on pause’ as doctors warn her about husband’s future

Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway, 53, said doctors have urged her to get back to work and continue her everyday life as she’s been told her husband Derek Draper, 53, won’t be leaving hospital anytime soon.

Kate’s long-term spouse, who she shares two children with, was placed in an induced coma in April.Despite now being coronavirus free, the virus attacked his body and has caused further health complications.Kate's co-star Piers Morgan confirmed Derek is still in a "serious condition" on Good Morning Britain today.

She has been off work since he fell critically ill and has remained at home with the couple’s children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 10.The presenter now been advised to return to her working schedule as the future of Derek’s.
