Kate Garraway told Derek will never make full recovery if he doesn't improve in two years

ok.co.ukAfter a lengthy and gruelling battle with Coronavirus, Kate Garraway has revealed that if husband Derek doesn't show improvement in the next two years, then he never will.The Good Morning Britain host, who headed to Cornwall recently with her children, was told the news by a doctor, who said that "there is very little chance of him making any meaningful recovery" if there isn't a change within that time.
Kate, 54, and her two children Darcey, 15, and William, 11, were left devastated when Derek was rushed to hospital in March 2020 after his body reacted badly to the virus.
Derek finally returned home earlier this year but he needs round-the-clock care as he recovers from the effects of what the virus has done to his body.
