Kate Garraway emotionally admitted that she feels "terribly lonely" and that she still hopes for a "happy ending" with her husband Derek Draper during her powerful documentary Caring For Derek on Tuesday.The ITV show is a follow up to the Good Morning Britain presenter's, 54, award-winning first documentary Finding Derek and it followed Derek arriving home ten months ago up until now.
Derek, 54, returned home in April 2021 after spending a year in hospital fighting for his life after contracting coronavirus in 2020, which has since left him battling a number of ongoing health issues.
In one emotional moment, Kate tearfully admitted that she is "really struggling" and that despite hoping for a "happy ending", it feels "unsustainable".
