Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain 's Kate Garraway opened up on Thursday's show about when she met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards.
Speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid, Kate said the royal couple identified with her own family, as her husband Derek Draper spent more than a year in hospital following a horror Covid battle that left him in a medically-induced coma with life-changing damage to his body.
Derek is now back at home as he continues the long journey to recovery, and is unable to speak. Kate said Prince William understood what it was like for her own children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, as he lost his mother, Diana Princess of Wales, when he was 15 and his brother Prince Harry was 12.
