Good Morning Britain presenter paid a 'tough' visit to her husband who remains in hospital following his battle with coronavirus which led to him being put into an induced coma.
Kate said on the ITV programme on Tuesday that Derek has had a "tough couple of weeks" and added that it is "frustrating". She also said that her emotions may have been 'higher' than usual as the couple's son Billy turns 12 today.Speaking to co-host Ben Shephard, Kate said: "I did go and see Derek yesterday and it was quite a tough visit."He's had a tough couple of weeks and it's just frustrating.
It's actually Billy's actual birthday today so I think I was probably extra emotional because you think about the day he was born and Derek's involvement and how much.
