Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Kate Garraway devastatingly broke down in tears as she discussed her husband Derek Draper saying his first word since being diagnosed with coronavirus.The 53 year old's husband was admitted to hospital back in March, and has become the country's longest surviving coronavirus patient still receiving coronavirus treatment.
Good Morning Britain host Kate announced on Friday that Derek had uttered his first word since being placed into an induced coma on Friday, when he whispered "pain" as doctors asked if he could feel anything.
Although heartbroken that his first word was "pain", Kate spoke to her co-hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about the moment that she realised she shouldn't give up hope.
