Kate Ferdinand's husband Rio admits that he is a 'strict and hands-on parent'

Rio Ferdinand has admitted that he is a 'strict' parent and loves to be hands-on when it comes to looking after his four children.

The 42-year-old former footballer, who welcomed baby Cree with Kate Ferdinand in December, says that he certainly does his bit when it comes to changing nappies and supporting his family.

Speaking to The Sun, Rio revealed that he was happy to support Kate with all the household tasks as well as bath time and cooking for the kids.

He also suggested that he sees himself as quite a strict parent but tries to strike a balance and make sure the children are enjoying themselves. “I’m quite hands on, I think Kate would say the same.
