KATE Ferdinand has admitted that being a step-parent can be the "hardest thing" as she urged followers not to "give up". The reality star, 30, shared a post to her Instagram Story about raising 14-year-old Lorenz, 12-year-old Tate, and 10-year-old Tia - Rio's children with late wife Rebecca.
She gave a rare insight into how she has coped over the past three years being a step-parent. Kate posted: "Even if you are a totally confident parent, being a step-parent can be the hardest thing you'll ever do. "Don't give up.
You make an important difference. "It may take years, but you'll learn things and said that changed their lives for the better. "You've been placed in their lives for a reason." Alongside the honest story, the former Towie star.
