Kate and William's London home to be turned into 'sustainable' ice rink this Christmas

The doors of Kensington Palace are set to open to the public this Christmas, as a new festive ice rink makes its debut to the public.

ICE is set to attract plenty of visitors, with a countdown already in place on the official website. A post on the Kensington Palace Facebook page reads: “We're much more than just an ice rink ICE at Kensington Palace is all about creating magical moments, with sustainability at the forefront of everything we do.

With a range of delicious food and beverages, exclusive VIP zones, activities & festive shopping, it's this winter's most anticipated London event.” There are currently limited details surrounding the ice rink, but more information will be revealed on the official page on 6 September.

The ICE at Kensington Palace extravaganza promises sustainability at its core and will aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible during all aspects of its planning and running stages.
