Kate and Rio Ferdinand have splashed £40,000 on two huge protection dogs after a series of high profile footballer burglaries.
The couple, who got married last year and are expecting their first baby together, bought the dogs to protect their family. Dele Alli and Liverpool FC's Fabinho are among the names who have had their homes burgled this year.
Kate and Rio have reportedly used a company called Chaperone K9, which trains dogs to become loving family pets that can also act as guard dogs.
A source told The Sun : "Kate and Rio have bought two dogs from the firm to protect their family. "One is already at their home, and the second will be joining shortly." Kate, 29, already has a tiny pet chihuahua at the family home.
