Thania Garcia The Latin Recording Academy has announced the nominees for its 24th annual ceremony, with top nominees representing genres from all over the globe.
Texas-bred songwriter-producer Édgar Barrera leads the list with 13 nominations, including four nominations in the top general categories.
He’s up for record of the year (“La Fórmula” by Maluma and Marc Anthony), album (“De Adentro Pa Afuera” by Camilo) of the year and has two songs nominated for song of the year (“NASA” by Camilo feat.
Alejandro Sanz and “Un X100to” by Grupo Frontera feat. Bad Bunny). Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo scored seven nominations this year, including album of the year for his third studio effort “De Adentro Pa Afuera.” His other nominations span song of the year, best pop vocal album and best pop song, among others.
