Kanye West 'spent whopping $13.2 million' on his failed Presidential campaign

Kanye West reportedly spent a massive $13.2 million on his failed Presidential bid - including $12m of his own money. The rapper announced last year that he'd be officially running for President of the United States, and if these new figures are right, he spent around $200 on every vote he received.

The 43-year-old, whose wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce last week, got off to a slow start in the race for the White House by failing to register in many States on time.

And his rally caused just as much of a headache when he came out with a string of controversial comments. Most notably, he told the world that he and Kim had considered aborting their eldest daughter North, seven, for the first months of the pregnancy.
