Left-leaning outlets have ignored the latest development in the debunked story about Border Patrol agents supposedly whipping Haitian migrants, despite previously parroting the claim.  According to a Sept 24, 2021 email obtained by the Heritage Foundation, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was told that the photographer who captured a clash between Border Patrol agents and Haitian migrants in Del Rio had said that the incident was being misconstrued. But hours before, Mayorkas attended a White House press conference where he failed to challenge the false narrative, pushed by other members of the Biden administration, including the president himself.

A bus carrying 36 migrants arrived in Washington, D.C., Thursday morning outside Vice President Kamala Harris' home. Additionally, three more buses dropped off migrants at the Port Authority transit hub in New York City. Harris' residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., has become a recurring destination for migrants being transported out of border states to sanctuary cities.

"And the fact is, when he came off that stage, you know what people were not saying? That guy has the energy, the vigor–" "All of a sudden he developed it," Begala interjected.

Critics slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday for referring to America's youth as "our children" during her interview with late night talk show host Seth Meyers.  "When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean, our future is really bright if we, if we prioritize them, and therefore prioritize the climate crisis and the need to address it. If we think about our children, prioritizing the need to bring our country together," Harris said.  Harris and Meyers were discussing a photo of the vice president surrounded by children in a classroom in Connecticut.

A Texas border mayor called out both parties Monday on "America's Newsroom," arguing Republicans and Democrats are the "root cause" of the border crisis.  "It is a crisis relative to immigration and border security. And unfortunately, we have a tendency to look beyond our borders for the elusive root causes when in reality and unfortunately, the fact remains that politicians on both sides of the aisle are the root cause," said Rio Grande City, Texas Mayor Joel Villarreal.  Villarreal said no mayor or governor should "bear the burden" for what he described as a "broken immigration system."  Villarreal said he is not confident the influx of illegal immigration will end because "neither party has delivered immigration reform in several decades." Vice President Kamala Harris visited Austin this weekend, but declined to make a stop at the southern border.
