Vice President Kamala Harris has agreed to participate in a vice presidential debate this summer, to be hosted by CBS News.

Donald Trump’s campaign has not yet publicly accepted the invite, the network said. The Biden campaign had proposed a vice presidential debate in late July, after Trump has chosen a running mate and after the Republican convention.

According to CBS News, the Biden campaign has agreed to the vice presidential debate on July 23 or August 13. Biden and Trump have agreed to two debates: One, on June 27, will be hosted by CNN.

The other, on Sept. 10, will be hosted by ABC News. On Wednesday, the Biden campaign said that it would not participate in the traditional general election debates, which have been scheduled for the fall and are organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
