Last month Waterbomb LA announced that it would be cutting prices for all ticket tiers following feedback from the community.In a statement, the organisers explained that it had initially set higher ticket prices to “cover [costs related to flights, accommodation, security and transportation related to artists] and ensure a reasonable profit”.However, the organisers responded to criticism from K-pop fans and lowered the price of tickets for Waterworks LA: “We recognise that this has become a burden for our fans.
Therefore, we have decided to adjust the prices, prioritizing the event over profit, in order to reduce the burden on our customers.”Last week Taiwan’s edition of the K-pop festival, Waterbomb Taipei, was cancelled due to unstable weather.
