Justin Timberlake

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.

Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

Justin Timberlake admitted that he might be one of the only people who tried to break into a prison. And not just any prison, we’re talking Alcatraz.

While you can imagine people wanting to break out of prison, Justin revealed that once, he and his NSYNC bandmate Joey Fatone actually broke into Alcatraz.

Y’know the place that used to be a maximum security prison on a little island in San Francisco. Yep, that’s the one. NSYNC had been shooting the music video This I Promise You just outside of San Fran and one scene took place on a pier that was directly opposite Alcatraz.

Justin, who was obsessed with Al Capone – one of Alcatraz’s most famous inmates – decided he wanted to go and roped Joey into coming with him, after enlisting the help
