Justin Baldoni is sharing evidence he was forced into a basement during the It Ends With Us premiere to avoid running into Blake Lively.
In his $400 million lawsuit, Justin opened up about claims he was held in the basement of the NYC film premiere at his co-star’s demands, claims that first surfaced thanks to an audio recording his lawyer leaked.
In his latest filing, the 40-year-old opened up about the incident, recalling that he was first “informed that Lively demanded he not attend the Film’s premiere on August 6, 2024.” Related: Justin Blasts Blake For Never Even Reading The Book It Ends With Us She also “threatened” that if he did attend, “she and the majority of the cast would boycott.” He wasn’t sure what “Lively had communicated to or promised” them, but he knew they “refused to attend” if he was there.
But Justin and his team at Wayfarer Studios “refused to succumb to the bullying tactics” and “refused to give in to this entirely unreasonable demand and valiantly searched for a compromise with Lively.” At the last minute, the Gossip Girl lead agreed to let him and his team attend with their loved ones — “only under demeaning and humiliating conditions.” They were allegedly “relegated to a separate theater to view the Film, required to arrive at a different time than the rest of the cast, and instructed to leave the red carpet immediately once Lively arrived.” But they weren’t just shuttled into their private theater — they were sent to the basement until the coast was clear!
