The New York Times was granted a win in court on Tuesday (March 4) amid the outlet’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
If you were unaware, the 41-year-old It Ends With Us actor and director sued the NYT for $250 million on New Year’s Eve. He accused the outlet of working with Blake Lively on an article about her alleged experience on set.
He also filed a $400 million defamation suit against Blake and Ryan Reynolds, which was amended to include the NYT in February.
The outlet alleged that Justin‘s arguments were “bogus” and is attempting to be removed from the lawsuit. As a judge contemplates that decision, they were granted a pause on the discovery process.
