Jurors have been unable to reach a full verdict in the trial of a man accused of fatally stabbing his sister’s ‘nuisance’ ex.
Liam Fosbrook, 28, is accused of knifing Dylan Towers to death after he turned up outside her home in Stockport. Minshull Street Crown Court heard that there had been issues between Mr Towers, 35, and his ex since their break up.

Mr Fosbrook denied murder and an alternative offence of manslaughter. Following a trial, jurors were unable to reach a full verdict, and prosecutors have been allowed time to determine if they seek a retrial.
