Jurors retire to consider verdicts in trial of former cage fighter accused of murdering ex-partner

hereThey have heard how Ms Belshaw died in her home on Upholland Road in Wigan after being stabbed to death.Ms Belshaw's daughter said she witnessed her mother being murdered, and alleged that Wadsworth then put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her if she called police.A workman smashed a window to allow the child to escape.Jurors have heard Wadsworth emerged from the house shortly after, before stabbing a man in the street.Wadsworth was apprehended after police arrived and pointed a Taser at him, at about 4pm on May 20.The jury have heard that Wadsworth had been in a relationship with Ms Belshaw previously.He claims he suffered a loss of control before the killing, because Ms Belshaw had made a number of revelations about her.
