Jurgen Klopp says Virgil van Dijk is not in a good way after he was forced off injured in the Merseyside derby. Liverpool star Van Dijk was clattered by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who was lucky to get away with not being shown a red card.
The Liverpool centre-back made his way into the area to attack a free-kick, but strayed into an offside position before receiving the ball.
Pickford flew out of his goal in a bid to block a shot from the Dutchman, but went straight straight through Van Dijk instead.
Klopp said: "It's not good. Virgil plays with pain but he couldn't play on. Not good." On the challenge itself, he added: "Pickford kicks him completely.
