Jurgen Klopp reckons pundits helped fuel the violent protests at Old Trafford last week. Some Manchester United fans stormed the stadium as they protested against the Glazer family, the owners of the club, before their clash with Liverpool, forcing the game to be postponed after the tunnel and dressing room areas were breached.
Klopp had called for calm over the anger at the European Super League last week.And has now condemned the actions of fans which left a police officer injured.
He said: “I'm an absolute believer in democracy – it means I am happy that people want to tell their opinion, that's completely fine.“But I know that in situations like that it doesn't happen too often that no-one gets hurt and that's why I said the week.
