Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he spoke to Sadio Mane after the striker snubbed him after Thursday night's win over Manchester United.
Mane didn't take kindly to being left on the bench for the trip to Manchester in midweek. And after the game, which Liverpool won 4-2, he refused to embrace the manager as he trudged off the pitch.
Klopp confirmed after the game that he planned to talk to Mane about the incident, but attempted to play it down. The winger returned to the starting XI to face West Brom on Sunday, and Klopp confirmed that his star man had apologised.
