Joe Gomez has been absent since November but is progressing nicely ahead of a return to the first team. He is one of several absentees with Liverpool battling a huge injury list this season.
Fellow defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip have both been missing, the former since October, which has tested the Reds' resources.
Jordan Henderson underwent groin surgery at the end of February, but Klopp is upbeat about the aforementioned quartet's recovery.
