Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Fabinho is sidelined with a fresh muscle injury will play no part in Liverpool's trip to Leicester, in yet another defensive injury blow for the Reds.
Fabinho returned to fitness one week ago after his last muscle complaint to start the 4-1 defeat by Manchester City last Sunday.
But his latest setback leaves Liverpool light in central defence once again ahead of their trip to the King Power on Saturday.
Fabinho has admirably filled in at centre-back this season and in his absence Klopp may turn to one of his January signings - Ben Davies or Ozan Kabak - to plug the hole.
