Judy and Andy Murray cast an appeal across social media to find a happy Scots couple who were at his winning match in Sydney.
Tennis coach and mum to the Scots star Judy was keen to trace the couple who watched Andy's match against Basilashvili. The two fans were seen wearing Scotland tops at the game and waving a Bonnie Scotland flag throughout as Andy beat the Georgian second seed 6-7 (4), 7-6 (3), 6-3.
Judy wrote on her social media: "Can anyone in Sydney or Scotland identify these Scots who were at Andy’s match v Basilashvili?Would like to invite them to quarter final..."Followers on her account were thrilled she and Andy were giving the opportunity for faithful fans to watch the champ once again. Many tried to claim the tickets by superimposing their face on the photo or by saying they were leading the party but had nipped out for some drinks. However it didn't take too long before Judy managed to trace the lucky couple in question. After one follower revealed: "Hi Judy thats my son Steven Glennie and his girlfriend Jodie Maggs !!!"They are from Dundee living in Sydney and were so excited to watch Andy at the match today !!"Im sure they would be delighted to be at the quarter final ..
