Journey recently celebrated 50 years since the band first formed. The band's most well-remembered lead singer, Steve Perry, was spotted on a walk in Los Angeles earlier this month.The 74-year-old was the frontman and prominent songwriter for the band for 10 years alongside Neal Schon, Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, Aynsley Dunbar and Steve Smith.
Current members of the band include Schon, Cain, Deen Castronovo, Arnel Pineda, Jason Derlatka and Todd Jensen. Here is what Journey band members from the Perry era are up to now as the band's 50th anniversary tour comes to a close April 25 in Palm Springs, California.
Steve Perry Steve Perry joined the band as a replacement for Robert Fleischman, making his debut as the frontman in October 1977.
As well as acting as the band's lead singer, Perry also was one of the band's principal songwriters. He was nominated to the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2020.
