The Portuguese lifted two Scottish Premiership titles while working under Postecoglou and lifted the Treble last term before the Australian made his move to the English Premier League.
The 24-year-old would also leave Celtic Park but the mega-money £25million switch has not went as well as Postecoglou's transition to the English top flight - with the winger almost immediately frozen out of the first-team picture to meet Saudi Pro League rules.
He managed just five appearances and one goal before he was cut from the squad list - with only eight foreign players allowed per squad in the Pro League.
