Josie Gibson split fans on Monday (5 August) morning as she detailed one of her controversial cooking habits while hosting the show.The presenter, who hosted alongside Craig Doyle, explained to guest chef John Torode that she 'always washes' chicken before cooking it.

John was whipping up a roast chicken and potato salad dish on the show when Josie interrupted: "John, can I ask you a question about the chicken quickly?

I've always washed my chicken but somebody said you're not meant to do that?" "You don't need to wash it," assured John. "You don't really need to wash it, they're all clean.They're all done these days.
