Jack Catterall insists he doesn't hate anyone - but says he simply wants to beat Josh Taylor because he doesn't think he's a nice person.As the hype continues to build ahead of their highly-anticipated rematch in Leeds on April 27, the duo exchanged more harsh words this evening at a second press conference in Catterall's home town of Chorley, following on from yesterday's fiery launch press conference in Taylor's native Edinburgh.
The two boxers had to be separated at yesterday's head-to-head, with Catterall attempting to grab Taylor by the throat. Although today's media event was slightly more reserved, former British super-lightweight champion Catterall didn't hold back on why he wants to emerge victorious in just over two months time on bout that has been billed as "Hate Runs Deep".
Speaking at the press conference, he said: "They have talked about this Scotland v England narrative, but for me it's just about fighting a p****.
He's just not a nice person and that's it."I know what lies ahead of me. As much as we have to do these press conferences, I have a job to do on April 27.
