Joseph Kosinski Drops Hints on Brad Pitt's Upcoming Formula One Film

Director Joseph Kosinski, who will be helming the movie, spoke to Deadline at the DGA Awards about the flick, which is expected to start filming this year. Keep reading to find out more… The movie, which was announced last year, doesn’t have a title, nor a release date still, but it’s reported that it will focus on Brad playing a retired driver who comes back to the sport.
The project will reportedly feature real cars as much as possible. Joseph revealed that he is currently immersing himself in the F1 world.
He said that “it’s fascinating. I can’t wait to show people behind the scenes. We’re going to be shooting on the tracks with real cars and trying to take everything I learned in Top Gun to apply to Formula One.
It’ll be fun.” Following the movie announcement last year, Brad was spotted at the F1 Grand Prix for research.
