It is one of the most harrowing tragedies in American history.Now, a new film is being made surrounding the tragic events of the Jonestown Massacre, the mass cult suicide-murder that claimed 909 lives in Jonestown, Guyana in 1978.Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Chloë Grace Moretz will topline the thriller, according to Deadline.

Chloë, 24, is set to play Deborah,whose haunting account of her time in Jim Jones's Peoples Temple opened up the dark world of his deadly cult.Meanwhile, Joseph, 40, will play Christian Socialist preacher and cult leader Jim.
