Jorgie Porter is returning to her role on Hollyoaks for its special 25th anniversary, four years after she quit the soap. The 32-year-old played Theresa McQueen from 2010-2016, when she left to audition for Hollywood roles in LA.

She also performed in stage productions, and starred on Dancing On Ice, I'm a Celebrity, and Celebs Go Dating. A source told The Sun Jorgie was delighted to be coming back to the Channel 4 show. "Jorgie is excited about the comeback and can’t wait to get her teeth back into her favourite role," they said. "Bosses were keen to resurrect one of its most popular characters to draw in original viewers." MirrorOnline has reached out to a rep for the show for Hollyoaks.

The show is said to feature “one dead body, one wildly eccentric detective, and one disastrous State Dinner,” per Netflix.The show has received an eight-episode order. Paul William Davies is the showrunner and executive producer on the show.
