Dundee United are set to land Jordan Tillson from Ross County. Record Sport understands the Championship leaders are closing in on a loan deal for the experienced midfielder.
The Terrors have agreed terms with County to take the 30-year-old to Tannadice for the rest of the season. United boss Jim Goodwin has moved for Tillson as Craig Sibbald has been sidelined with injury.
The Englishman has been at County for the last five years but has fallen down the pecking order in Dingwall. Tillson now wants to get back playing and to help United back into the top flight.
The former Exeter player is also set to become a free agent in the summer. Tillson could make his debut in the SPFL Trust trophy clash with Dunfermline Athletic this weekend.
