Jordan Pickford's wife Megan gives birth to baby girl as pair reveal unique name

Footballer Jordan Pickford and his wife Megan have welcomed their second child.The pair – who are also parents to a four year old son called Arlo – announced the exciting news of their daughter's arrival on Instagram on Tuesday evening with a picture of a cradle surrounded by pink balloons, flowers and an 'oh baby' sign.They also shared the beautiful name that they have chosen for their daughter – Ostara Haze Pickford.

Jordan, 29, captioned the picture with: "Ostara Haze Pickford 23/09/23. "Welcome to the world our beautiful little girl." Megan shared the same beautiful image and wrote: "Welcome to the world Ostara Haze Pickford.

Our dinky dotty dream come true." Messages of congratulations soon flooded the post as Vicky Pattison commented: "Stunning. Congratulations babe." Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood sweetly said: "can’t wait to meet her out angel girl xxxx." Love Island star Amber Gill said: "Omg congrats", while pregnant Chelsea Healey gushed: "congratulations so perfect." Jordan and Megan announced their exciting pregnancy news back in July with a gorgeous picture of them cradling Megan's growing bump while stood on an idyllic beach.

Megan captioned the snap: "Adding one more for us to adore. we can’t wait for you baby." The couple have been dating since they were teenagers when they both attended St Robert of Newminster school in Washington, near Sunderland.They got married in a very low key ceremony in March 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic with Jordan famously wearing a baseball cap, tracksuit and ripped jeans.The childhood sweethearts were eventually able to celebrate their marriage with a lavish ceremony in the Maldives in July last year.
