Jonathan Bailey Lines Up Next Stage Role in 'Richard II' Production - Find Out When it Begins

The 36-year-old Bridgerton and Fellow Travelers actor is set to play the titular character in a 2025 production of the show directed by Nicholas Hytner.
This will mark Jonathan‘s first theater role since 2022′s Cock and is his highest-profile role in a Shakespeare story to date. He played Cassio in Othello and Edgar in King Lear back in 2017. The latter united him with Ian McKellen. The production of Richard II will take place at the Bridge Theatre in London, England.
