Jon Stewart Extends Deal to Host ‘Daily Show’ on Mondays Through December 2025
variety.comEthan Shanfeld Jon Stewart won’t be leaving “The Daily Show” desk any time soon. After returning to the satirical news program in early 2024, Stewart has extended his deal and will host “The Daily Show” every monday through December 2025.
Stewart will also remain an executive producer on the show. “The Daily Show” news team correspondents will continue to split hosting duties throughout the remainder of the week.
Among the current roster of rotating anchors are Desi Lydic, Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta and Jordan Klepper. “I’ve truly enjoyed being back working with the incredible team at ‘The Daily Show’ and Comedy Central.
I was really hoping they’d allow me to do every other Monday, but I’ll just have to suck it up…,” Stewart said in a statement.
