Johnny Russell says he'll never turn his back on Scotland despite being snubbed again by Steve Clarke. The Sporting KC striker has bagged 12 goals in his last 12 MLS games, becoming the highest scoring Scot in the league's history.
But Russell, who already has 14 caps for his country, was left out by Clarke for Friday night's crucial World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
The 31-year-old hasn't played for Scotland since 2019 but is in the form of his life in Kansas. The Sporting KC captain has been a key player for them in reaching the MLS Cup play-offs this term.
