Johnny Depp and Alec Baldwin slam 'inhumane' court system and 'gender bias' against men

Johnny Depp and Alec Baldwin have opened up about their divorce battles in a new book written by actor Greg Ellis. Alec has written a preface and Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny has written the introduction to Respondents: The Family Law Cartel, which will be released on June 29.

The book will look into Greg's own divorce and custody battle in which he will argue that the family court system is “old-fashioned and inhumane” and is ultimately shows “sexism” against men and fathers.

This is echoed by Baldwin and Depp in their additions to the book. Alec, 63, was embroiled in a controversial custody battle with first wife Kim Basinger over his daughter Ireland in 2002.
