John Souttar’s future will become clearer in the coming days as he plans to personally hold talks with selected interested clubs in England.
But the Scotland stopper has not ruled out staying north of the border with Rangers reportedly making their move to sign Souttar on a Bosman.
Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers remain the favourites to sign the 25-year-old Hearts man whose contract expires at the end of the season.
But he has a lengthy list of suitors - Sheffield United among them - which is now into double figures and, according to the Edinburgh Evening News, he plans to whittle that down.
