John Mercurio and Greg Saphier will co-lead the Motion Picture Association‘s communications and public affairs division as part of a new organizational structure.
Mercurio, senior vice president and head of corporate communications, and Saphier, senior vice president and head of public affairs, will report to MPA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin.
They will lead the division after the departure earlier this year of Emily Lenzner, who was executive vice president, global communications and public affairs.
Rivkin announced the new structure in a memo to employees today. The memo is below: Dear MPA Colleagues, I am delighted to announce a new organizational and leadership structure for our Communications & Public Affairs division.
