Wishaw's John Higgins put on a stunning display at the Northern Ireland Open by mounting a comeback from 3-0 down to beat Mark Williams 4-3 and progress to the quarter-finals.Higgins looked on his way to a last 16 exit against the Welshman, but the world number seven pounced upon an error to begin the comeback.The wizard of Wishaw will now play David Gilbert today at 7pm as the Northern Ireland Open approaches its conclusion.Williams was ruthless in the early stages while Higgins struggled to get a rhythm going, falling behind considerably.This was the pair's 40th meeting at senior level, but in that time, Higgins has only lost to a whitewash once against Williams.It looked as if a second was on the horizon.
