John Beasley, 'Everwood' actor, dead at 79

Malik shared three photos of him and his grandfather, including one of the two on a basketball court. "To the man who put the Beasleys on the map," he captioned the post. Before he took on acting, Beasley worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. He launched his acting career at the age of 45. "I was raising my family and I have two sons I’m very proud of, and I thought being a father and watching these kids grow up was more important," he told WOWT in 2020.
