John Barrowman 'devastated' after cancelling UK tour due to 'slow ticket sales'

John Barrowman has admitted that he's absolutely devastated after cancelling his UK tour due to 'slow ticket sales'. The entertainer took to his social media to announce the news and tell fans that the tour would no longer be going ahead.

This comes after he was accused last year of 'inappropriate behaviour' on the set of Doctor Who.The 55-year-old previously apologised for "high-spirited behaviour and tomfoolery" after accusations surfaced that he had exposed himself on the set of the show, where he played the role of Captain Jack Harkness.But despite wanting to move on from the accusations, John said he has found the last few years very difficult and he's very upset that he's had to cancel his tour.In the statement, he said: "It is with huge regret that we have decided to cancel the UK tour.

Unfortunately, ticket sales in certain parts of the UK have been slow, and with the increased costs of touring it is no longer economically viable to continue."This is a decision that has not been taken lightly, and I know many of my fans will be very upset, as am I.

Personally I am devastated and like many people I have found the last years extremely difficult, possibly the hardest few years of my life.
