Fuming Joey Veerman has taken aim at Rangers once against as he branded the side "very mediocre" as he revisited PSV Eindhoven's Champions League playoff defeat to the Ibrox side.
Antonio Colak scored the crucial goal in the second leg of the playoff in the Netherlands, after Malik Tillman capitalised on some sloppy defending between PSV keeper Walter Benitez and defender Andre Ramalho to slide the ball to the Croat.
However, Veerman has defiantly claimed that despite the costly error the Eredivise title hopefuls are the superior team to Rangers.
After seeing off the Dutch side the Ibrox fans Champions League dream quickly turned to a nightmare, with heavy defeats to Liverpool, Ajax and Napoli seeing the club land the unwanted record as the worst team ever in the group stages of the competition.
