Rangers have missed out on Heerenveen midfielder Joey Veerman as he joins boyhood club PSV Eindhoven. The Dutchman was a target for both clubs in the summer, with Steven Gerrard keen to bring him to Ibrox.
A Rangers relaunch was mooted for January but it quickly became clear that PSV were determined to get their man.
