Joe Wright believes Kilmarnock team-mate Danny Armstrong should be on the PFA Scotland Player of the Year list.The Rugby Park side have boss Derek McInnes in the running for the Manager award and David Watson nominated for the Young Player.
But Wright feels other colleagues led by Armstrong had claims to be involved with not a single Killie star making the PFA Premiership Team of the Year.The defender is delighted for McInnes and Watson, but said: “It’s not just those two.
I think the gaffer and David have been terrific all season, but there’s a couple of boys in that dressing room that will feel a little bit hard done by that they’re not up for the Player of the Year.
People like Matty Kennedy and Danny. They’ve been terrific, especially with Danny’s numbers and performances that he’s put in.
