Joe Swash has declared that he is “done” with Stacey Solomon’s festive pranks, after the Loose Women star posted a mischievous Christmas video to her Instagram.

The 34-year-old Sort Your Life Out star revealed that her family are taking part in Elf on the Shelf this year.The popular Christmas tradition sees parents and kids adopt a ‘scout elf’ magically sent by Santa to keep an eye on the children’s behaviour and report back to the North Pole each night.

Every morning the elf then returns to a different spot in the house, ensuring kids make the ‘good list.’ The mum-of-five has shared a video with her 5.8 million social media followers, where their red-headed family elf named ‘Joe’ could be seen sneakily drawing a moustache on the ‘real’ Joe Swash as he took a nap on the sofa.

The couple's little one, Rex, giggled in delight as Joe woke up to discover Stacey had used the elf as a way to cover him in marker.
