Joe Swash hits out at backlash over 'lavish' holidays with Stacey Solomon

Joe Swash has hit back over the backlash that his family got over their recent luxurious family holiday to Turkey. After Stacey kept her followers updated on their trip and shared some stunning snaps on Instagram, some fans criticised their family due to the cost involved.

One person commented: "Sorry Stacy but an average family could not afford this hotel you are very lucky to be able to afford this”, while another said: “She doesn’t live in the real world anymore”.

Now, Joe Swash has hit back and said he and Stacey “work hard”, and that he takes criticism with a “pinch of salt”. Joe told The Mirror: "We're in the public eye so you've got to take the rough with the smooth and not everyone is going to agree with us.

We work really hard and we try to take our kids on holiday. We only work hard so we can spend more time and do more things with our family. "People are going to have a go but it's fine they're allowed their opinion and we take it with a pinch of salt." Stacey and Joe took their kids Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, 4, Rose, one, and six-month-old Belle to Turkey and reportedly spent more than £4,000 on the luxury holiday.
